The Prisma Method

Course Levels
Prisma e.V. primarily offers intensive language courses with 15 to 25 lessons per week.
All courses are systematically structured and follow the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

For example, as a complete beginner with no prior knowledge, you could take the “telc German B1” exam within 7 months, or acquire all the necessary skills within one year to study in Germany.
Each level is divided into two modules (e.g., A1.1 and A1.2). Each module takes approximately 4 weeks in the morning courses and about 6.5 weeks in the evening courses.

The levels A1–C2 correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference.

Levels – Exams

  • A1 – telc German A1 for immigrants

  • A2 – telc German A2

  • B1 – German Test for Immigrants / telc German A2–B1

  • B2 – telc German B2

  • C1 – telc German C1

A1–B1
We offer three levels: A1, A2, and B1, and currently teach using the six-volume textbook series “Die neue Linie 1” from Ernst Klett Verlag.

To prepare for the B1 exam, we offer exam preparation courses on Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. prior to the exam date.

Teacher Qualifications

Our teachers, certified by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, are university graduates with many years of teaching experience and native-level proficiency. They regularly participate in further training as needed to expand and optimize their teaching methods and content.

Many of them speak more than one foreign language, which helps them work effectively with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

The teaching content and methods are regularly evaluated and reviewed by Prisma e.V.
